Tambay mode in a gas station (No. 29)

… thanks for this holiday… whee… πŸ™‚ Ninoy Aquino‘s Day. I was able t0 accomplished my no. 29. “Tambay mode in a gas station that has a wireless connection. As I put this simple task in my 1o1 list, my objective is to have a ” Me Moment”.

“ME Moment” is a situation where I can think about anything, Free my spirit, Eat what I want, go where I want (in here, i prefer Gas Station), and be what I want to be.

so in the afternoon of this date, i packed my back-pack and brought Kuling’s Laptop (Peram Kuling, hehehe), drove the Car heading to the Gas Station.

Here, I had a tall size fraffe (pasosyal si ate!!!, but it’s for free, nyahahah). I had a chance to update my blog, read feeds and commented on photos.

It’s so cool to hung for a moment doing light stuff without nothing serious in mind… πŸ™‚

thus, my no. 29 was done and I would defenitely do this again… πŸ™‚

pyromusical 2010…(**,)

Ah-oww, this post was super late…joinx… πŸ˜€ Β but still I want to share it… πŸ™‚

as a fireworks addict, I alway make it a point that if there were pyrolymics event, I should be there… :-D. Thus, when this event was initially announced to be held in November of 2009, I felt quite sad ‘coz I was engaged to work (Store Opening Gallore…wheeww). Fortunately the event was moved to February and March of this year (Thanks! thanks! thanks!). Of course together with my fave tambay buddy plus our cool baby (pilentz… :-D), we drove straight to MOA to watch the event. We weren’t able to witness the first presentation night held on Valentine’s day coz we were in Clark for another fantastic experience ( Watched the HOT-AIR Balloon Festival).Furthermore, we manage to watched the succeeding schedules.

While watching, I felt as tough my life clock really stopped (Exage….whe…) It facinates me every time I watched them bursting in the sky of dakness.Β  Different colors, styles, sizes and uniqueness were being witnessed. People were amazed while simultaniously utterring the word ” oh..wow”.

My most favorite was the exhibition made the Philippines ( not because I’m a Filipino…plus factor) but as if , it combines all the good style styles of each country… πŸ™‚

For this Pyromusical, this is truly a two thumbs up… wheee… πŸ˜‰ and hope to watch more and more of it.. πŸ™‚

no. 94 was done… wheee!!!

As the Filipino nation prepares for election 2010,part of these were lots of work, Media adds, Voter’s Education and awareness. Different groups shared their talent and resources to help. So, I don’t want to missed the chance to become one of them. I want to be a volunteer for 2010 election. πŸ˜€ πŸ˜‰ :-D.

Be out there not just to for one or two individuals, but to help other people on the said historical day… πŸ˜€

With lots of Β inquiries and research on where and how can I join a volunteer group for election, I was fortunate to be listed as a one for PPCRV. (Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting). My mom, was part of it and I insisted to be one of them too ( kinulit ko, joinx :-D)

And so May 10, 2010, I became a Volunteer of 2010 Election, I woke up at 5:00 am(thanks sa gumising sa akin… :-D) to prepare and be ready for the day’s battle. I was assigned at the information section. Giving small piece of paper containing the Cluster no. ,Precinct no. and Sequence no. of each voter.

Irritated Voters, Heat of the sun, Thirst, long queues, busted PCOS ( nasira kaya ung dalawa… :-() what else could we expect. These are just normal stuff because it’s a first time. Seems negative but there were positive points in here. For me, it’s fulfilling to serve without expecting anything. As long as I have accomplished my life list, for me it’s rewarding… πŸ™‚

For my Nanay Deng…

As I wrote my 101 list in 1001 days, one of my to do’s is to:

79. Bring Nanay Candeng to Babel’s House

A woman who is very dear to me. Like a loving mother who care in every ways to make sure that her child is well and safe. Nanay Deng (Candida Torres Agustin) was my auntie, sister of my father and third child of my grand parents was a simple woman who chose to have a simple life.

A life to serve her family in a way she believes to be rewarding and pleasing. She was never a house wife nor a mother of a biological child but she has a lot of children who used to call her “NaNaY”. A mother figure to her nieces and nephews specially to me. It was a claimed that I was her child and she was also my mom too ( I was her no. 1 favorite… πŸ™‚ peace kuya Ricky and te Marie :-)). She has a part in taking care of me ever since I live my life into this world. I used to share to her the happiness and love I give to my real mom ( I have two moms… πŸ™‚ ).

On the 22nd day of April year 2010, she passed away. We really thank God, for she did not suffer longer as she approaches death. I will miss the time that I used to impart with her cool and great details happened to my life. Every time I had spacial events, beautiful dress, pretty make-ups (abay, graduation, sagala, etc…), I always make sure that she had a glimpse of how I looked. I used to utter Nay, tingnan mo na ko, ang ganda ko with matching a huge smile on my face”.

I included no. 79 in my 101 list because she didn’t had a chance to hang around and spare moment outside of her fences. She used to be left at home and said “Sige ako nalang ang taong Bahay”. I attempted to ask her to go with us but often times,I did not succeed 😦 . How I wish she could lived much longer for us to let her experience the vacation, gatherings and get-together.

This post is dedicated to our Nanay Deng, with prayers, flowers, candles and love. May she live peacefully with her Creator. Thank you for all the love and sucrrifices that you have given to the family specially to me.

Candida Torres Agustin

kita kitz batch ’96….:D

April 17, 2010 was the date, when the event named Kita Kitz Batch ’96 was held. AΒ Reunion that was formed to gather all the pips who graduated High School at Dna Trinidad Mendoza Institute, year 1996 (obvious ba? hahahahs… ;-D)

A collaboration of eager ones who shared their minds and ideas to make this possible in just a span of almost 3 months, whoow… :-D. By gathering information, preparing checklist, opening School Year Book, looking for Friends (thru FB and walking “angles” whahaha.. :-D) meetings, and budgeting, everything fell into place. Of course some lapses were noted, but then again the event had brought fun and enjoyment to everyone (we really hope it did… :-O).

Warm acknowledgement to those who helped to make this event a memorable one.

  • Financial Support from batchmates who are more well-off (Out of the Country pips, you know who they are.. :-D)
  • Artistic talent of the lay-out artist
  • Creative minds of the Event Master
  • Supportive people who helped gather more attendees as possible
  • Cute and kind Collectors πŸ˜€
  • Runners, here, there, and everywhere
  • Understanding Bosses/co-workers who allowed attendees for absent or take leave
  • Dance instructor
  • School Guards and Assistant
  • Free Photographer from the Studio Owner
  • Performers
  • Buffet and Table designers
  • …and All those who shared financial contribution.

For the friendship-links that were re-opened (and re-kindled), having met old friends, for the lasting smiles and laughters (till now), even the pressures that goes along with organizing this… Well, I can proudly say that this EVENT served it purpose…Wheee….:-)

Success!!!! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€
