holiday is over….whewww…

Today, (Jan. 6, 2009) Holiday is over for our family…aaaa 😦 😦 BUT we all have the reason to smile as we cherish the winning moments we had as we spend these days together..

πŸ™‚ Kuya’s family came home for Christmas Holidays. We were all excited when we knew that they will be here for the HolidayΒ  Season. It’s been almost 10 years since we haven’t seen them. The two kids were shy at first but they felt at ease on the later days of their stay. Kuya Ricky went home too….

We all promise to keep in touch…(thanks to internet)

πŸ™‚ Project Kindness. As Babel commits on this project for almost a decade, she never fails to bring the spirit of Christmas which is Gift -Giving. I’m proud to be part of this and so to those who shared their blessings through their pledges…we’re all winner…thanks to the nth power….

😦 I had an Accident. I just want to thank god, loved-ones and friends who comforted me and reminds me that I’m very blessed and Lucky…..

πŸ™‚ Binggo-ng Bonggang bongga. As we spend our Noche Buena, we used to have it with a Capital B-I-N-G-O, raffle Draw and funny Games. We were more “sosyal” on this 2009 Event ‘coz our grand prize were 2 “Winning Camera” thanks to Babel and Pentong…whee…

πŸ™‚ Big Screen Viewing Experience. We set-up a white bed sheet hanging, put the amplifiers on, loaded movies in the laptop and have the projector focused….we have an instant Home theater, with unlimited flood served on the round table….( pity for who washed the dishes… )joinx…

πŸ™‚ Boat ride for Free. As I wrote in my prvious blog, I have all the means hehehe. Even in simple ways, it still counts.Β  As we have the eagerness to have the boat ride and let our Balikbayan Babies to have that experience, I went to my god father to barrow his boat…and Waalla.. we had it with out any cost…(libre ang gas at driver….thanks to Ninong Dano and Ronald… ). We also had our favorite Sunset shots, picture taking, reminiscing moment at latian and had a chance to see the church of “Krus sa Wawa”...woow!!!

πŸ™‚ Swimming Fever. Even if it is December, we decided to go for swimming. We had an overnight stay at the hotel and went swimming as if we own the resort… hahaha…. Plus we have witness a fireworks display while in the pool….Β  happiness…

πŸ™‚ Basketball Bonding. As if there was a tournament… nyahahaha. The half court that was used were filled with people and these were just us…(angkan…nyahaha..winner ang pala)

πŸ™‚ Grocery Shopping Galore. As a Christmas token, I am lucky to be included in the list of employees who can haveΒ  free groceries. Of course my mom enjoyed the moment especially when she bought her laundry soap… thanks to our BOSS…

πŸ™‚ New year with a Bang. As we used to welcome the New year, we lighted fire crackers and fountains, watched beautiful fireworks…wheee… don’t forget the eating moment where we had a “table hopping”.

πŸ™‚ Night-out with the Couples. While driving home we (me and babel) got a call saying, “san kayo? labas daw tayo sabi ng kuya”. Since we were both hungry, we just told them that we will wait for them inΒ  a resto. We ate, drunk and shared short stories which were really funny (banka sina kuya ome, kuya boyet at papa nick). Afterwards they decided to go to a bar…(whaa..kalurkey, I’ll be going to a bar together with Papa Nick…duhhhh!!!) so I decided to stay at the car and wait for them. Then we went to “TAPSI” for midnight snack….Lugaaaawwwww

😦 Ba-bye moment. Kuya’s family went back to States, (I was his driver…whee…)but before sending them to the airport, we all had a late lunch. Yummy foods, final bonding moments, picture takings and tears were all there and shared…then way to go. After dropping them at the departure area, a call was received again saying “go back to MOA” for dinner. It’s Kuya Ricky’s turn to say bye…

With all these moments, it just leaves a smile and laugh when reminisced…. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚
